About Careloop
What the platform is and how it works.
What is Careloop?
Careloop is a multi-agency platform that helps people find qualified home carers and their registered agencies across the UK. Service-users can search the directory, view carer profiles, and contact agencies directly.
Is Careloop a care agency?
No. Careloop is a directory and connection platform. Care is provided by registered agencies. The agency, not Careloop, is responsible for the delivery and quality of care.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. You can search and view carer and agency profiles without an account. You only need to register if you are a carer, an agency, or a service-user who wants to manage requests inside the platform.
How do I contact Careloop?
Email admin@careloop.org.uk. We aim to respond within two working days.
For service-users (families)

How do I find a carer?
Use the Find Care page. Enter a postcode and adjust the search radius to see carers and agencies near you. You can also browse agencies directly under Browse Agencies.
Can I see qualifications and experience?
Yes. Every carer profile shows their qualifications, years of experience, and employment history. Agency profiles show the care types they provide and their location.
How do I book or arrange care?
Contact the agency directly using the phone number, email, or website on their profile. The agency arranges the care, including matching a carer, setting the rate, and managing the schedule.
Does Careloop process payments?
No. Any payment for care is handled directly between you and the agency.
For carers

How do I join Careloop?
Register at /register/carer. You will be asked to select the agency you work with from the directory.
Do I need to be with an agency?
Yes. Carers on Careloop are listed through their registered agency. If your agency isn't in the directory yet, contact us at admin@careloop.org.uk so we can add them.
Why don't I set my own hourly rate?
Rates are determined by your agency, not by individual carers. The agency is responsible for the contract with the service-user. Your agency-set rate is shown on your profile once it has been added.
How do I update my availability?
Sign in and visit Availability from your dashboard. You can add or remove time slots at any time.
For agencies
Listing your agency and managing your carers.
How do I list my agency?
Register at /register/agency. If your agency is already in our directory, you'll see it as a suggestion when you type your company name. Selecting it will link your account to the existing listing.
My agency appears in the directory but we never signed up. What is that?
We seed the directory from public sources so service-users can find care providers across the UK. The listing belongs to your agency and you can claim it during registration. Once claimed, you control the profile.
How do I add my carers?
After your account is approved, carers can register and select your agency from the suggestions list. You can also manage your team from My Carers.
