Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
1. About Careloop
Careloop is a multi-agency platform that lists registered care agencies and their carers so service-users can find and contact care providers across the UK. These Terms govern your use of the Careloop website and services (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is operated by Careloop UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17168270 (incorporated 20 April 2026), with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
2. What Careloop is — and isn't
Careloop is a directory and connection platform. We:
- List care agencies and their registered carers.
- Help service-users discover providers, view profiles, and contact agencies directly.
- Facilitate communication between service-users and agencies.
We are not:
- A care agency or care provider.
- The employer of any carer listed on the platform.
- A regulated provider of care services.
Care is provided by registered agencies. The agency, not Careloop, is responsible for the delivery, quality, and safety of care.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity carried out under it.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or pose a risk to other users.
4. Use of the Service
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any agency.
- Post content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or infringes anyone's rights.
- Scrape, copy, or extract data from the Service except as permitted by law.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
5. Agency listings and claims
Some agency listings on Careloop are sourced from public directories. The agency in question may claim its listing by registering an account. Once claimed, the agency is responsible for keeping its profile accurate and up to date.
Listings are presented for information only and do not constitute an endorsement by Careloop.
6. Bookings and care arrangements
Any booking, contract, or care arrangement is made directly between the service-user and the agency. Careloop is not a party to that arrangement. We do not handle payments between you and an agency.
The agency is responsible for the care provided, including safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and any obligations under employment law, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) framework, and other applicable regulations.
7. Content you provide
You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile information, messages, testimonials, photos). By submitting content, you grant Careloop a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Service and use it as needed to operate the platform.
You confirm that any content you submit is accurate, lawful, and that you have the right to share it.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Careloop or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reuse our branding or content without permission.
9. Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Careloop is not liable for any loss arising from:
- The acts, omissions, or quality of care provided by any agency or carer listed on the platform.
- Inaccurate or out-of-date listing information.
- Service interruptions, errors, or unavailability.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Privacy
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
